Accounts Receivable Officer - Arndell Park, NSW

Our client is a trusted provider of gas products and services across Australia. As part of their growing team, they are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to manage and maintain the receivables ledger, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing. On this occasion, they are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Arndell Park operation.

In this role, you will be responsible for receipting and allocation of payments, managing customer accounts, and minimising bad debt write-offs. You will also handle account reconciliations, journal entries, and prepare weekly summaries. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the receivables ledger.
  
  
• Process receipting and payment allocations.
  
  
• Minimise customer bad debt write-offs.
  
  
• Input and process journal entries.
  
  
• Reconcile accounts and prepare weekly summaries.
  
  
• Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments.
  
  
• Provide ad-hoc administrative support as required.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
  
  
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
  
  
• Client-focused with strong communication skills to maintain supplier relationships.
  
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  
  
• Excellent time management skills.
  
  
• Full time working rights in Australia
• Ability to complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Please note: This role is critical to ensuring strong on-the-ground performance and supporting operational outcomes directly at site. It involves regular in-person liaison with various managers and employees and, as a result, this is an on-site only position.
