About the role

A full-time or part time Maintenance Person role is available at Castlemaine Hire Service, based in Castlemaine, VIC 3450, This role is responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair tasks to support the smooth operation of our hire business

What you'll be doing

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as well as maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule

Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical equipment especially small engines.

Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Collaborate with the team to ensure a high standard of service delivery

What we're looking for

Several years of experience in a similar maintenance and repairs or handy person role

Strong practical skills across mechanical equipment maintenance

Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Good communication skills

Excellent time management and organizational abilities

Commitment to providing outstanding customer service

Strong understanding of OH&S responsibilities

Flexibility to adapt to a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities

Relevant trade qualifications or certification (desirable)
