Trendgosa is a large tier one specialized commercial joinery / cabinet making firm having been in the business for almost 40 years. We manufacture and Reception Counters, Shaped Planters, Banquette Seating, Bars, Kitchens, Library Units, Study, Full Penthouse Fit Outs and Mid & High End Apartments. Hospital Fit Outs, Schools, End of Trip, Public Spaces, Labs, Government Projects and more. All with a large range of finishes and detailing to architectural designs and specifications.

This is quite a unique opportunity and is suited to someone wanting to remain in the trade yet seek a change their job role, off the bench & tools so to speak.

Our long term employee who managed this department has moved to a different career path and this job needs to be fulfilled. A permanent, full time secure job.

We are looking for someone to manage and assist receiving incoming materials such as cabinet hardware, glass, metal aluminium & all other associated material used in cabinet making.

As materials are received, they are generally inspected, singed off and taken to our store area and placed in shelves & racking. The items entered in our inventory system & electronic orderbook as received. Between this we keep stock control and you would be required to prepare various lots of hardware for individual projects with one other team member. This department prepares hardware & other consumables required for each job lot.

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

To assist the Storeroom Team with the day to day operations

Working closely with the ordering team with daily work lists

Receiving deliveries from suppliers

Maintaining stock

Picking and Packing stock to fulfil manufacturing orders for our assembly department

Marking off and maintaining stock levels in computer system

Ensure safe work practices and actioning OH&S requirements.

Hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday.

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS

Cabinet making experience / hardware knowledge.

A team player who is reliable and gets the job done.

An eye for detail in quality assurance.

Good multi-tasking abilities to handle and finish various required daily tasks

Excellent time management and organization skills to meet deadlines.

Computer literate

Ability to take direction and responsibility from the Warehouse Manager.

Driver’s license preferable.

Forklift license is an advantage.

Fit and healthy as some lifting will be required.
