The opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO and a member of the leadership team, the HR Manager is a pivotal role that is responsible for the full employee life cycle and operation of employment practices across the ecoDynamics Group of companies. Supporting employees across three states and multiple sites in Victoria, you will have the opportunity to make this role your own. A strong collaborative communicator, you will be passionate about building and maintaining a capable, engaged workforce in a safe, inclusive environment that reflects our values.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Maintain best practice HR, ensuring compliance with legislation and industrial instruments

· Manage the full employment cycle from recruitment and onboarding, to performance, development and offboarding

· Act as subject matter expert to the business and provide advice and coaching to the business on employment matters, performance and grievance matters

· Work with the Safety team to support a strong safety culture and health and wellbeing activities and oversee the EAP

· Support payroll function with on and offboarding and interpretation of industrial instruments

· Identify training and development needs, coordinate and track completion and manage the Group scholarship programme

· Administer the performance management system, provide tools and support

· Administer HRIS (Action HRM) and perform functions of super-user

· General office management duties including procurement of office supplies, management of phone contracts and relationships with office suppliers and allocation of IT resources to new starters

You will need

· proven experience managing an HR function independently in a blue- and white-collar environment that includes industrial instruments.

· a strong generalist background. We will support you to foster your existing network of HR/legal specialists or connect you to our existing contacts.

· highly developed verbal and written communication skills

· a proactive, people-first mindset

· tertiary studies in HR, business or a related area would be well regarded as would extensive industry experience.
