An exciting opportunity has become available for a Human Resources Officer to support the HR function across a leading organisation. This role has a strong focus on administration, compliance, data management, and employee support.

The position is particularly important in supporting overseas workers, ensuring smooth HR operations, accurate record-keeping, and clear communication of relevant employment laws and regulations. The successful candidate will also play a key role in communicating work-related matters and non-work-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and manage employment documentation, contracts, and variations.
• Maintain worker profiles and HR records in the HRIS system.
• Manage termination processes and document workplace incidents.
• Oversee WorkCover and workplace injury claims, liaising with insurers.
• Ensure compliance with PALM Deed requirements and employment legislation.
• Support managers in employee relations and grievance procedures.
• Contribute to HR process improvements and efficiency.
• Promote safe work practices in line with OHS policies.

What We're Looking For

• HR qualifications (or related field).
• Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail, strong organisation, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professionalism and discretion with confidential matters.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
