Events Officer

Salary Package: $110,669 per annum plus super

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Events Officer to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of exciting local events that celebrate arts, culture, and community spirit. About the Role:

• Develop event plans, manage budgets, and handle all logistics.
• Foster relationships with local businesses, artists, and stakeholders.
• Support promotional activities to ensure maximum visibility.
• Oversee procurement, record-keeping, and ensure safety protocols.

What You’ll bring:

• 3 years’ experience in general administration and logistics duties.
• 3 years’ experience working on community events/events
• Previous local government experience (desirable)
• Current C class driver’s licence
• National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
• Working with Children Certificate
