About the Role

This role focuses on managing and optimising SQL Server and Windows Server infrastructure, supporting system performance, automation, and integration within a complex IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Microsoft SQL infrastructure (2012/2016/2019)
• Develop and optimise Transact-SQL queries and PowerShell scripts
• Implement and manage hybrid solutions using Microsoft Azure and SQL Server
• Automate processes through API integration and scripting
• Support SQL Server availability groups and performance tuning
• Provide technical advice and support for system upgrades and enhancements

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server administration
• Proficiency in Transact-SQL and PowerShell scripting
• Experience with API automation and integration
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure and SQL Server
• Ability to analyse and optimise SQL performance in complex environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
