Green Light Worldwide are currently seeking an experienced System Administrator to work within the Chief Technology Officer Branch of Chief Information Officer Division in a Federal Government Department. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the delivery of departmental events and day-to-day operations through an improved maturity of the Department's systems.

Estimated Start Date: Tuesday, 09 September 2025
Initial Contract Duration: ASAP to 30 June 2026
Experience Level: APS6 Equivalent
Location of Work: Canberra
Working Arrangements Hybrid
Maximum Hours 40 Hours Per Week

Key duties and responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow or a similar enterprise service management system.
• Strong understanding of IT service Management (ITSM) and the ITIL best practice framework.
• Strong understanding of governance and management of Enterprise IT.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise service management workflow.
• Building user interface and User Centric Design.
• Reporting and analysis.
• Identify areas of process improvement and digitise process/forms where possible.
• Training of end users.
• Routine system administration including: manage user accounts, manage support group changes (additions, charges, adding/removing members), provide users with access/roles within the system.
