Seize a pivotal opportunity within a dynamic finance team that’s driving internal transformation and systems integration.
6 Month labour hire contract with option for extension, immediate start.

The role.
You will play a key part in supporting financial operations during a period of systems change and process enhancement. Your work will focus on the integration of the finance platform (TechnologyOne) with a new HRIS and payroll system (Aurion), ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data throughout the transition.
You will assist in updating internal policies, delegations, and procedures, and support the transfer and reconciliation of key financial and staffing data. A core part of your responsibilities will also include strengthening internal controls, providing accurate financial advice, and helping to improve overall compliance and governance practices.
Additionally, you’ll contribute to developing finance-related training materials and guidance to assist staff in understanding new processes and tools.
The candidate.
You will bring a strong foundation in finance, with experience in supporting operational financial functions within large or complex organisations. Your background will include working with financial systems—ideally Technology One—and you’ll have some exposure to projects involving systems integration or business process improvement.
You will be analytical and detail-focused, with excellent planning and problem-solving skills. Your ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders will be essential, particularly as you help translate technical financial information into practical insights. You’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities and thrive in a team environment that values initiative, flexibility, and accuracy.

The role pays up to a maximum of $85 per hour plus super and once you have established those relationships, the option to work in a remote or hybrid model can be negotiated. Located in Canberra or Sydney.
