Our client is a design-focused leader in the high-end lighting solutions space. Due to company growth they now require a Business Development Manager to join their friendly team in Sydney. They offer high-end commercial & residential decorative lighting products to Specifiers, Architects, Designers, Builders, Trades and retail customers. They have built a solid reputation in Australia, strong brand recognition with exemplary service. They have a unique working environment and a relationship based selling approach. Opportunity
As a BDM in NSW your primary responsibility is to maintain and develop key clients in the Sydney area. These will consist of Engineering Consultants, Architects, Lighting Designers & Builders. This role requires an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of lighting design coupled with an overarching passion for providing high-end design-led solutions. This role will see you on the road visiting clients as well as hosting them in their luxurious showroom.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a consultative design function and possess a natural sales ability. This is a unique opportunity and one that offers full product training and strong career development. They will provide you with all the support you require to thrive and develop within the business. Skills & Experience
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Experience in a consultative, design-led sales opportunity
- Lighting sales and design experience is highly regarded
- Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long term career role
- A strong network of relevant key specifiers in NSW that can be leveraged
- A passion for providing high level customer service
- High degree of energy, self motivation and desire to be rewarded with your hard efforts
- Proficiency in Design software, such as SketchUp and AutoCAD is highly desired
- A strong understanding of Interior Design with applicable qualifications
