Australis Facilities Management (AFM) is a boutique facilities management specialist provider that is privately owned and operated. Originating in the year 2000 to provide support to a select few clients, AFM has grown to provide consulting, support and direct delivery of FM services across the public and private sectors.

We are currently seeking applications for the position of a Facilities Manager for a portfolio of commercial buildings located in Western Sydney, Parramatta and Penrith. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate AFM’s values whilst delivering excellent service provision to the building owners, property management team and occupants.

Duties include:

Management of the building’s compliance with statutory requirements

Management of all planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance requirements

Management of all the building services, operations and performance

Management of the building’s presentation

Essential Criteria:

Demonstrating effectiveness in a similar role

Being able to work autonomously within the delegated authority level

Ability to work as part of a team

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with all stakeholders

Ability to provide monthly and ad hoc facilities reporting

Ability to draft annual budgeting for operation and capital expenses

Sound understanding of all facilities related compliance requirements

Drivers licence

Highly Regarded Experience:

Experience using MyBuildings/FRC software

Experience using BMS, access control systems and CCTV systems

Trade background/knowledge
