Are you looking for a long-term career path in Facilities Management with a supportive company that respects its employees?

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised full time Facilities Manager for immediate start to oversee the operations of a diverse and growing property portfolio, currently comprising multiple industrial warehouses (including an LVR facility) and a 40-lot strata residential scheme (part-time service). This portfolio is expanding, with future capacity to increase the number of facilities under management.

Some properties have recently been onboarded, requiring the development and implementation of asset management plans in consultation with service contractors. Several sites are also still within the Defects Liability Period (DLP), so experience managing defect rectification with builders and contractors is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare P&L reporting along with Outgoings Budgets for the property portfolio.

Manage and implement asset management strategies to ensure long-term performance and compliance of base building infrastructure

Oversee routine maintenance and manage service contractors to ensure delivery of agreed standards

Review tenant service records and ensure base building assets are maintained in accordance with lease obligations

Establish and implement asset management plans for newly onboarded sites in consultation with the original builder and contractors

Conduct regular site inspections and generate detailed reports covering maintenance, condition assessments, and compliance

Coordinate with builders to identify and manage defects on sites within the DLP timeframe

Maintain and update the online facilities portal, ensuring all asset histories, invoices, service reports, compliance certificates, and relevant documents are logged and accessible

Provide monthly reporting on maintenance activity, compliance and completion of projects.

Build strong working relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders

About You:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities management, ideally across industrial and strata-titled assets

Demonstrated experience in defect management, DLP coordination, and new site onboarding

Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle planning and experience setting up asset management plans

Proven ability to manage P&L, contractor performance, and maintenance budgets

Familiarity with Opex and Capex budgeting and forecasting

Solid understanding of building systems, service contracts, and compliance obligations

Proficient with facilities management platforms and document portals

Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
