Bayview Motel & Apartments is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and committed Motel Manager (or Management Couple) to lead our team.

Located just one street from the breathtaking Esperance coastline, our 42-room property offers a vibrant and rewarding work environment in one of Western Australia’s most picturesque destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Provide and maintain a high level of service to ensure guest satisfaction and return business.

Administration: Perform general admin tasks, oversee banking, invoicing, and ensure accurate reporting.

Facility Management: Supervise the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation of the motel and its apartments.

24/7 Operations: Ensure after-hours calls are attended to and managed effectively.

Staff Management: Lead and manage staff, including rosters, training, and performance oversight.

Inventory & Stock: Handle stock ordering and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.

Marketing: Implement marketing strategies to boost visibility and business growth.

Financial Management: Develop strategies to minimize costs while maximizing revenue, ensuring profitability and efficiency.

Reception & Reservations: Oversee front desk operations and ensure the reservation system runs smoothly.

Owner Reporting: Provide regular updates to owners on the operational status, financial performance, and any areas needing attention or improvement.

Renovations: Oversee the planning and execution of room renovations and upgrades to maintain high standards.

Compliance: Ensure all operational policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with legal standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a similar role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Proficiency in administration, including banking, invoicing, and reporting.

Familiarity with inventory management, staff rosters, and marketing strategies.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage operational challenges.

Knowledge of motel systems and compliance with legal standards in hospitality.
