FOH Cafe Supervisor

About the role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Running shifts, overseeing service and ensure that Zookeepers standards and values are exceeded.

Maintain a high level of service/experience with a great attitude and friendly manner.

Ensuring the cafe remains presentable and service is running smoothly at all times.

Perform and assist in hiring, training and developing the Front of House Team.

Handling customer queries in a friendly, problem solving/solution based and professional manner at all times.

Contribute to discussions of new ideas and be able to analyse the performance of the cafe to assist in the growth of the business.

Weekly ordering, stock control and rotation.

Administrative duties (responding to emails, online ordering, invoicing, timesheets etc) .

Directly work with Owners/Mangers, other supervisors and kitchen leaders.

About You

Successful candidate will have: Suitable experience in a similar role or relevant hospitality experience.

Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, interact & lead a team confidence in multitasking so that you can supervise AND execute smooth, efficient and friendly service.

Professional manner and confidence in communicating with Owners/management.

Organised with good time management and ability to prioritise a positive experience for staff and customers alike to manifest the Zookeepers Broome experience.

Desirable attributes

Prior management or supervisory experience in a high-volume and busy cafe/restaurant setting.
