We are a fast-growing food manufacturing company seeking a proactive CPA to join our team. Based in a factory setting, this role supports the Managing Director with data-driven decisions and active team collaboration. Reporting to an off-site Group Financial Controller and supervising one part-time staff member, you will play a key role in our operations.

· Prepare monthly management accounts and accrual journals

· Reconcile GL control accounts

· Process supplier payments and payroll

· Prepare and lodge BAS

· Manage cashflow

· Oversee stocktake, accounts payable/receivable, and banking

· Value inventory

· Identify and implement process improvements

· Coordinate month, quarter, and year-end deliverables for management and Board

This role offers a chance to become the 2IC as the company expands. It suits a skilled and proactive Accountant who values autonomy.

About you

You will be

1. CPA (completed or in progress) with a bachelor’s in accounting or commerce.

2. Essential: Xero experience.

3. Experience with Fishbowl or other manufacturing software.

4. Advanced MS Excel skills preferred.

5. Proficiency in Word and Outlook required.

6. At least 5 years of relevant experience

7. Experience with Aussie Timesheets payroll system
