Nationwide Corporate Services - Security Divison is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our dynamic finance team in our Port Melbourne office. As Accounts Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial accounts and reporting, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial information. What you'll be doing

Oversee all accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, bill payments, and reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and analyses

Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve accounting-related queries and issues

Maintain and improve financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

Supervise and mentor junior members of the finance team, providing guidance and training as needed

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance function through the identification and implementation of process efficiencies

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Security industry experienced

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar accounts management role, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment

Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements

Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
