About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full accounts payable function, including invoice processing, coding reviews, reconciliation of statements and AP inbox management and communication

Query and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Maintain and update vendor records and ensure compliance with GST and tax regulations

Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and reporting

Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost allocations

Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to address queries and maintain strong working relationships

Administrative support to finance team relating to AP and related functions.

Contribute to process improvements and support other finance functions as required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Knowledge of the property development industry (desirable but not essential)
