They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join their high-performing finance team. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the accounting function.
• Supervise and support a small team.
• Prepare and deliver accurate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly financial reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee cash flow management, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations, including BAS, PAYG, and payroll tax reporting.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and analysis for decision-making.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
• Manage reporting obligations across both Australia and New Zealand.
• Operate and maintain financial data within the Apprise ERP system (training provided).

About You:

• Bonus if you are CPA/CA-qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring finance staff.
• In-depth understanding of Australian accounting standards and familiarity with New Zealand reporting requirements.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience with Apprise ERP (or similar systems) is advantageous, but not essential-training will be provided.
• A hands-on, proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
