Join a medium-sized, successful, well-established National manufacturing Company that supplies a range of building products and accessories (residential, commercial, industrial) into the marketplace. The Company continues to be successful by delivering a quality range of products, providing solutions to their customers, and maintaining their commitment to providing an exceptional level of customer service.
As Branch Manager - Toowoomba, reporting to the General Manager, you will be involved in managing this medium-sized business profit centre. This will entail leading the team to achieve set company objectives including sales revenue and profit margins, managing all controllable expenses, all operational KPI’s (including manufacturing, distribution, admin, safety), and overall focusing on ensuring that the Branch continues to expand and maximize their business opportunities. You will be proactive in the marketplace by taking the lead, working with your management team and key stakeholders driving sales and marketing initiatives to increase sales and market share in the Region – as well as improving on the company’s operational process and systems. You will call on a diverse range of customers including Builders, Contractors, Resellers - building key relationships in the market, and fostering a strong sales and customer service environment.
As a proven and successful “Hands on” Manager, you will: have worked in medium to large sized manufacturing businesses ($25M+) in the building products industry thereby demonstrating a strong knowledge and understanding of the building & construction sector in the Region, have experience in the management of a manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly process, know how to utilize your strong coaching, mentoring and leadership skills to drive safety, continuous improvement and best practice relating to all sales, operations, commercial, financial and business matters. You will have strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, be “hands on” proactive and energetic, results oriented, and resilient. Salary commensurate with experience.
