We’re now looking for a General Manager to help lead Funky’s next growth chapter. This is your chance to help build Australia’s next big success story.

What we’re looking for:

⚠️ Independent operator, someone who knows what to do with limited guidance

⛔️ Serious management skills, someone who can step in, take control and start making things better from day one

💥 You won’t have a big team beneath you. This is a role for someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty and knows when to step in and do the job themselves

Also:

Proven experience in fast paced, high output businesses

Senior level or a sharp up and comer ready for GM

Someone who understands you have to do something yourself once to manage it properly

Strong communicator with natural sales instinct

Tech capable

Local, office based only (no remote work)

What you'll actually do:

Oversee and improve day to day operations

Build strategies to improve our systems, processes and people

Manage all our teams across multiple states except marketing

Expand and grow our supplier and farmer network

Mostly in-office (Woolloongabba), occasional warehouse visits (Rocklea)

Occasional visit to NSW & VIC

$130k–$160k salary

Equity available for the right person, discussion start after 6 months
