Position Overview:

The Community Services Team Leader Role is a key position within the Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The position will be responsible for reviewing and or developing high-quality curriculum materials and assessments for Vocational Education Programs across the Community Services area.

They will be required to work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, review and improve training materials, course content and support resources that meet established standards based on regulatory and compliance requirements, industry and client needs and market demand. In addition the Team Leader will work with the BD team and other internal Departments take responsibility for growth in the delivery of these programs.

Where required the Team Leader may be required to undertake training and assessment duties.

Qualifications & Experience:

TAE40116 Cert IV in Training & Assessment, or equivalent

Certificate III (or higher) in areas covering Allied Health, Community Services , Individual Support

Current vocational experience in Allied Health, Community Services , Individual Support

Working with Children Check (WWC)

Experience in communicating via online platforms including MS Teams and Zoom

Experience in using student and learning management systems Cloud Assess, VETtrak

Deliver training to wide range of participants from diverse backgrounds

Leadership and Management experience in a RTO or GTO environment where you have managed trainers , covering but not limited to course scheduling for a min 2 years.

be willing to travel across various sites in Melbourne (some regional locations may be required)

have a flexible approach to training and assessing

be focused on student completions and course progression

enjoy working autonomously and within a supportive team

have time management skills to meet time sensitive benchmarks

have a passion and commitment to training and education

bring a positive, friendly attitude and good interpersonal skills

be accountable to manage the day to duties and task of trainers working in this department
