Role Title: Residential Service Lead
Employment Type: Full Time (76 hours a fortnight)
Location: Keilor East, Victoria
Salary: $86,776 p.a. plus super and NFP salary packaging (dependant on experience)

Bring your passion to our Supported Independent Living team in Keilor East, where you will lead by example, nurturing and encouraging a home environment that enables every resident to enjoy a quality lifestyle aligned with their unique goals and aspirations.

The position responsibilities include:

  • Oversee 2 sites catering to 10 clients and empower them in their decision-making and goal planning, whilst emphasizing the importance of continued relationships with family and loved ones.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to a dedicated team of Disability Support Workers including permanent and casual staff.
  • Implement, monitor, and review staff performance, and hold regular house meetings, and individual supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including care teams, day service programs, and families.
  • Join a supportive and collaborative team of Team Leaders/ Residential Service Leads, who will support you in your new role.
  • Make the Complex Simple. Engage in continuous process improvement, where your feedback is highly valued, and positive changes are actively implemented based on your insights.
  • Please note the role is 76 hours a fortnight (full time) with varied shifts from Monday to Friday which include dedicated admin times, and direct client support. No weekend work required. Please refer to the roster line attached within the job documents.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Due to client requirements this role is suitable to female applications only.
  • Experience leading small teams and the demonstrated ability to provide practice leadership. Experience leading a team in an accommodation setting (SIL) is desirable.
  • Good communication including a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with care teams and families.
  • Experience supporting clients with complex care needs and have experience implementing positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Understanding if the NDIS and relevant State and Commonwealth legislation / regulation relevant to Service Delivery
  • NDIS Worker Screening check.
