The Role
This is a unique opportunity for a Legal Practice Management Assistant with a focus on bookkeeping, while also gaining experience in broader legal practice management. The position is evenly split, with approximately half of your time dedicated to bookkeeping and financial management, and the other half supporting legal operations, technology, and client services.
Regardless of your previous experience, you will receive hands-on training across all aspects of legal practice and financial management, ensuring you develop a strong foundation in both areas. One day, you might be assisting with bank reconciliations and financial reporting; the next, helping a client automate tasks, documents and workflows.
Hybrid Working
This role is based in Brisbane and offers a flexible mix of remote and in-office work, balancing independent tasks with in-person collaboration alongside colleagues and clients.
A Typical Day Includes
Bookkeeping & financial management
Managing daily transactions, bank reconciliations, and trust accounting.
Generating and reviewing financial reports, assisting with month-end and year-end processes.
Supporting client billing processes and accounts receivable/payable tasks.
Ensuring compliance with trust accounting regulations and best practices.
Practice management & legal lech Support
Assisting clients in optimising their legal technology systems, including task and document automation.
Delivering training and support to legal teams on financial and practice management tools.
Collaborating on data migration projects, workflow automation, and precedent development.
Engaging in virtual and in-person client meetings to provide hands-on support and solutions.
General administration
Assist Alleviato to manage day-to-day tasks and business process improvements.
