About the Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised Finance Officer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time basis. This role supports the smooth operation of financial and payroll functions within a growing community organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Accurate data entry and reconciliation using MYOB or Xero, our client management system (CRM), human resources information (HRIS) and payroll systems
Processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including:
NDIS and Aged Care invoices
Supplier payments
Debt collection and receipting
Assisting with payroll administrative tasks such as onboarding, employee document processing, and record updates
Creating and maintaining financial reports and documents using Microsoft Office
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Experience using MYOB, Xero, or similar financial software
Confidence working across multiple systems (payroll, HRIS, CRM)
Strong skills in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Experience in the NDIS or Aged Care sector (desirable but not essential)
A collaborative, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
