Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory/Warehouse Manager to oversee and take full accountability for inventory across all Powerhouse Supplements locations. This includes our central warehouse and retail stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory control, warehouse replenishment, stock accuracy, and ensuring inventory best practices are adhered to across the entire business.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate stock levels across all locations: warehouse and retail stores.

Oversee all inventory-related processes, including cycle counts, damage stock control, and expiry date audits...etc

Ensure all inventory data in systems is accurate and up to date.

Set and enforce stock control procedures across the business.

Operations Management:

Manage operational aspects of the business regarding inventory management, and resource allocation

Ensures efficient and effective operations

Oversees the day-to-day activities for Inventory, Logistics & Warehouse

Ordering & Replenishment:

Manage all ordering and replenishment for the warehouse.

Monitor ordering activity carried out by individual store managers, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company purchasing policies.

Liaise with suppliers for product availability, New SKU’s, deals and delivery coordination.

Compliance & Controls:

Monitor and manage expiry dates, damaged goods, product recalls, and credits/returns.

Conduct root cause analysis and resolve an operational inefficiency, discrepancies in stock levels or reporting.

Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices are maintained across all locations.

Reporting & Analysis:

Generate regular reports on inventory health, ageing stock, wastage, and store compliance.

Provide insights to the leadership team to help improve purchasing decisions and reduce stock holding costs.

Team Support & Collaboration:

Work closely with store managers, E-comm manager and the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and efficient stock flow.

Train relevant team members on inventory protocols and systems where required.

Act as the point of contact for all inventory-related queries or issues.

Help the warehouse when required to fulfill orders during sale periods

Work with Marketing to suggest products to push

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a multi-site retail or warehouse environment.

Strong understanding of supply chain operations, purchasing, and stock control in FMCG.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

3-4 Years Inventory Management Software Experience (High Level User) - e.g. Cin7, Unleashed, Dear, NetSuite, Zoho Inventory, Odoo, etc. Ability to build reports, manage staff roles & permissions, develop business processes.

Strong Excel skills - ability to export and analyse stock data, alongside other data sets (Benchmark Pricing, Systems Interrogation, Gap Analysis, etc) e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Queries

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams.

Supplier Negotiation Experience

Shopify and shopify POS highly regarded but not necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Minium 5 years’ experience preferably in FMCG

Formal qualifications in supply chain, logistics (preferred but not mandatory).
