The Client:
A National brand specialising in kitchen cabinets, homewares, door and cabinet handles and storage solutions. Located in Prestons and working in their state-of-the-art Warehouse.

• $85k - $95k + super (dependent on experience)

The Role: Outbound Warehouse Manager
In this role you will report directly to the National Warehouse Manager and work along side the Inbound Warehouse Manager.
As the Outbound Warehouse Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team across inventory control, picking and packing teams (including LO Order picker and High reach operators), and outbound operations. Your role will focus on maintaining high standards in safety, accuracy, and efficiency, while ensuring timely delivery of products to a national customer base.
You will have two direct supervisory reports.

Your main duties will involve:

• Manage all aspects of Outbound warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Monitor KPIs to drive performance, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with WHS standards and company procedures.
• Oversee stock accuracy, cycle counts, and inventory management.
• Collaborate closely with customer service, procurement, and inbound teams.
• Implement strategies to streamline operations and reduce delays or errors
• Conduct daily and weekly tool box and safety talks
• Conduct Monthly 1 on 1 performance reviews with all outbound team staff
• Oversee returns and damaged goods management
• Manage the site contract delivery drivers runs
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of outbound staff to achieve performance targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment in line with WHS standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing operational efficiency

As well as the above you will have experience in day to day operational duties such as:

• High reach forklift 6 racks high
• LO Order picking up to 6 racks high
• Replens, picking and putaways
• Picking products up to 1.5 metres in length
• Picking VIA RF scanner
• Utilising Netsuite WMS
• Trolley Picking
• Wrapping and strapping products and pallets
• Palletising stock
• Matching and Cross-checking paperwork against orders and signing for delivery for customer orders

Day:

• 9am – 6pm
• Monday to Friday

The Candidate:

You will have a passion to lead your team to success on a daily basis! You will lead by example, help coach, mentor and develop your team, celebrate successes and help others learn and grow from their mistakes!
To be successful in obtaining this role you must hold Valid LO and LF Forklift Licenses and will have the following experience:

• Proven experience in a warehouse management or senior supervisory / Team leader role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain a positive team culture.
• Sound knowledge of inventory systems, dispatch processes, and WHS regulations.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• You will have the ability to follow processes and train new staff
• You bring strong knowledge of warehouse systems and logistics operations, with hands-on experience using WMS (preferably NetSuite)
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and can manage complex priorities in a dynamic environment
• You're detail-oriented and proactive, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and quality
• You have outstanding communication and organisational skills and can build positive relationships across teams
• You’re WHS aware and committed to upholding safety and compliance standards
• Strong knowledge of outbound logistics
• A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Current valid LO and LF Forklift licenses
• Tertiary qualifications in Transport, Warehousing or logistics are highly advantageous
