Our client is a well-established, Australian-owned food manufacturer with a strong reputation for producing high-quality chilled products enjoyed nationwide. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Inventory & Supply Chain Manager to join our client's team in Orange, NSW.
You will be reporting to the General Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for overseeing the full inventory and supply chain process, from managing incoming goods to ensuring accurate dispatch. You’ll be leading a small team, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and playing a key role in keeping our operations running efficiently. We’re after someone with a strong background in supply chain or inventory management, who’s confident leading a team, solving problems on the go, and making smart, data-informed decisions.
Location: Orange NSW
Fulltime: 9am to 5pm
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits using inventory tracking systems
Analyse sales and forecast demand to optimise stock levels
Monitor stock, identify shortages and reorder as required
Coordinate shipping and transport logistics to ensure timely delivery
Generate inventory reports and identify trends and areas for improvement
Supervise warehouse and dispatch staff, providing support and training as needed
Ensure efficient stocktakes, receivals, dispatch, and shelf-life control of stock
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and freight companies
Ensure WHS standards are adhered to across warehouse operations
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar inventory or supply chain role
Qualifications in logistics, supply chain or a related field.
Solid understanding of inventory management software and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of HACCP principles and food handling standards
Experience leading a team in a warehouse or production environment
Great communication, organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
Ability to use a walk-behind forklift (preferred)
