Role

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate previous experience in Operations, Warehousing or Inventory management roles and an understanding of Distribution Operations handling a large number of products.

Duties

Be our main point of contact for our Internal and Third Party Warehouse teams, as well as our Suppliers.

Manage: Day-to-day management of our Inventory levels across 3 warehouses, along with weekly stock takes and investigations. You will be across all stock movements and have the ability to understand and resolve variances quickly.

Ordering: Responsibility for Supplier Ordering into our 3 warehouses, while managing available budgets. Ability to analyse data to optimise stock levels across warehouses and minimise wastage.

Communication: Be the first point of contact for Suppliers, 3PL Partners and our own warehouse team members.

Support: Our internal Sales Support channel, being proactive in answering questions and solving issues.

Reporting: Provide weekly reports on Inventory Levels, DIFOT and Product Quality.

Warehouse Investigations: Work closely with the warehouse teams to resolve Customer Service issues

P&L: Work closely with the senior leadership team to support cost management initiatives

Key Skills and Attributes

You have 2-3 years previous experience in Inventory related roles, preferably within a distribution or food operation.

Excellent people skills and a genuine desire to work within a team and make a difference

An absolute eagle eye attention to detail and excellent numerical capacity.

You like investigating and solving problems

You have demonstrated an ability to improve processes

A strong understand of excel, word and cloud-based technology platforms (generally comfortable with technology)

You can time-manage and have the ability to prioritise and handle pressure within fast paced environments.

You can communicate well and are able to ask for help
