Excellent patient care and a warm welcome to the practice is our reception team's primary focus. We are seeking a reliable receptionist to fill this role on an ongoing basis, in a casual capacity with an opportunity for part time. Opportunity for future office management roles is possible.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Providing exceptional front-desk service to patients and visitors

Managing appointments, patient records, and billing processes

Handling Medicare and private billing transactions accurately

Supporting doctors and clinical staff with administrative needs

Managing incoming calls, emails, and enquiries professionally

Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards

Assisting in day-to-day operations of the clinic

✅ About You:

Minimum 2 years experience in a medical receptionist or senior admin role (GP clinic experience preferred)

Proficient with medical software (Best Practice, PracSoft, or similar)

Strong understanding of Medicare and private billing procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently

Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanour

High attention to detail and organisational skills

CPR certificate beneficial
