Medical Receptionist - Casual Position

Our Dermatology Clinic in Bondi Junction is looking for a friendly receptionist to join our growing team. We are a team of 4 female Dermatologists, 5 nurses and 3 front desk staff looking to add a fourth admin member to our team. We specialise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology and care for a wide variety of clientele.

The right candidate will be calm under pressure, has a high attention to detail and is very patient orientated.

Clinic Hours: 9am - 6pm Mon/Wed/Fri ; 8am - 4pm Tues/ Thursday. Closed for Public holidays

Flexible 1-2 day week. The specific days are negotiable, however we'd like you to be available Monday and/or Wednesday 9am-6pm/6:30pm. Sick leave cover on other days is desirable.

General Duties include but not limited to:

Answering incoming calls- we receive a high volume in our rooms

Meeting and greeting patients

Handling patient enquiries/ concerns

Booking patient appointments

Database management

Scanning and filing

Emails and faxing

Ideal candidate will have the following:

Strong computer skills - Genie (or similar) experience is desirable.

Ability to work under pressure and pick processes up quickly.

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent communication & people skills to relate well to patients, staff and healthcare professionals.

Medical experience not required, we are happy to fully train the right candidate.
