We are now looking for a friendly, well-organised, and compassionate receptionist with exceptional interpersonal skills to warmly welcome our patients and provide consistent, high-quality care and administrative support at a private billing practice in Glebe.

Our practice is located in a beautifully restored heritage building close to shops and public transport, we offer convenience and charm for both patients and staff. We’re open 7 days a week, from 9am to 7pm on weekdays and 9am to 1pm on weekends, with public holidays off.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Facilitating the smooth operation of reception with care and professionalism

Managing patient interactions, including greeting, appointment scheduling, phone/email inquiries, and billing

Collaborating with patients, specialists, doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals

Handling incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and ensuring accurate scanning

Providing office administration assistance and completing tasks as needed

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience as a medical receptionist with proficiency with Best Practice (BP) software

Ability to commit to a term of at least 24 months

Flexibility to adjust days and times occasionally when required

Excellent muti-tasking and time management skills

Strong customer service and communication skills

Working Hours: 3-4 days between Mondays and Fridays and occasional weekend shift if required, totaling between 40 to 60 hours a fortnight.

Remuneration rate: PT hourly rate : $30-$40
