About the role

As a part-time Medical Receptionist at Mascot Medical Practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to both patients and the clinical team. The suitable candidate must be available for work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

Handling patient inquiries and booking referrals

Processing patient registrations, medical claims and payments

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records

Providing general administrative support to the practice team

Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are well-presented and fully stocked

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems

A friendly, professional and empathetic approach

The ability to work effectively as part of a team
