About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef de partie to join our team at the Calligeros Group in North Sydney. This is a full-time role where you will play a key part in the day-to-day running of our busy kitchen, overseeing a team of junior chefs and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and train a team of junior chefs, ensuring they follow recipes and techniques to the highest standards

Prepare and cook a wide range of international cuisine, showcasing your culinary expertise

Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment

Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and implement changes

Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations

Order and manage kitchen supplies and inventory

Provide exceptional customer service by delivering high-quality dishes on time

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef de partie or Senior Chef de partie in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment

Strong working knowledge of a wide range of cooking methods, flavours and presentation techniques

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure

Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of chefs

Passion for food and a keen eye for detail

Relevant cookery qualification or certification

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
