Hahn Electrical Contracting is a respected, Australian-owned company delivering specialist electrical services to the mining and industrial sectors for over 30 years. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HSEQ Administrator to join our Perth-based team in a full-time capacity.

About the Role

This is a pivotal support role within our HSEQ function, providing essential administrative and compliance support to help maintain our high safety standards. Reporting to the HSEQ Coordinator, you’ll be relied upon to maintain accurate records, coordinate training, and ensure processes run smoothly, while also building strong working relationships across the business.

We’re looking for someone who can be firm and confident in applying HSEQ requirements, while also understanding the importance of engaging and collaborating with people to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate HSEQ records including KPIs, training logs, incident reports, and audit data

Support the development and maintenance of ISO-accredited safety systems and documentation

Organise and track mandatory employee training, certifications, and renewal dates

Assist with workplace inspections, safety observations, and risk assessments

Record and follow up on incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions

Distribute safety communications and respond to HSEQ-related queries

Provide general administrative support and occasional reception cover

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Excellent administrative and organisational skills

Strong communication and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines

Understanding of WHS principles and compliance awareness

Highly Desirable:

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or progress towards)

Experience in the mining or heavy industry sectors

Ability to build effective relationships while confidently applying compliance requirements
