As a specialist in Dewatering, Water Treatment & Trench Shoring for civil and infrastructure projects, GSS Hire is seeking an experienced full-time Administrator to join our Maddington, WA branch for the Dewatering & Water Treatment division.
About the Role
The Administrator role is to be responsible for the procurement and coordination of all Dewatering & Water Treatment equipment and services. To provide high level administrative support to the Commercial and Operation teams. You will also Assist the Operations Coordinator, Water Treatment & Service Team with day-to-day duties.
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a rising star with a strong passion in the construction industry to join our team.
In this role, you will provide crucial business support and contribute to various projects within the realm of civil construction.
Key Responsibilities
Raise, create, monitor and expedite Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisition, including supplier invoices
Manage and maintain inventory levels, including sourcing products, pricing and placing orders
Monitor and manage expenses (accounts payable) – weekly approvals, credit card expenses, purchase reimbursements
Assist in coordinating and booking training requirements for personnel
Assist with the on-boarding process for new and existing personnel, including orientation, induction, and mobilization (to & from site)
Booking travel & accommodation
Date entry of Fuel registers (onsite and yard)
Taking Hired Plant Insurance (LTD Waiver)
Assist with submission of service records and OHS documents to clients
Support the Workshop with data entry (Service, Pre-start records)
Assist with preparation of GSS EOM invoicing and Progress Claims
Assisting the Hire Department with Hire Agreements, Mobilisation of Equipment, Coordination of multiple jobs
Skills & Experience
Experience in Civil construction or hire industry
You have a strong customer service ethic, detail oriented and enjoy solving problems
Strong administrative skills and effective time management
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel
Experience in Syrinx POS system is desired but not essential
Competent to work in high-pressured environments and meet deadlines
