Choice Health and Wellbeing Group comprises seeking a NDIS Compliance Officer to join our dynamic privately-owned business, with offices-based North of the Perth CBD. The ideal candidate will join our friendly organisation on a Permanent full-time basis, onsite in Wanneroo.
The NDIS Compliance Officer is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and are in compliance with the requirements.

Attitude as important as experience. We are looking for a person who will be the right fit to support our participants, management and the support team with the day-to-day aspects of their roles with a focus on service delivery, quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments.
Develop and update compliance frameworks, registers, policies and organisation documentation.
Support training and awareness around compliance requirements.
Investigate any non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with the executive and program teams to support funding and governance requirements.
Take part in restrictive practice reporting
Implement and maintain safety management systems to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.
Willingness and ability to participate in an after-hours on-call roster.
Selection Criteria:
Knowledge of NDIS Frameworks and Legislation
Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013.
Awareness of compliance obligations for NDIS providers and the role of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
Experience in Compliance and Regulation
Proven experience in a compliance-focused role, preferably within the Health & Disability context
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the Health & Disability sector
Experience in developing and implementing organisation policies and procedures
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality reports and briefs.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with NDIS providers, participants, and other stakeholders.
Experience in delivering education and training to promote compliance.
Teamwork and Collaboration
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and across departments.
Willingness to contribute to a learning culture and share expertise.
Organisational and Time Management Skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness and ability to participate in an after-hours on-call roster.
