About the role:
Reporting to the Plan Manager Lead, this role entails delivering a high level of customer service to our plan managed customers providing timely and responsive plan management services including monitoring of participant budgets and available funds, entry and review of participant invoices in accordance with NDIA rules and guidelines, authorisation of invoices for payment and payment of participant invoices.
The role will also perform financial services tasks for Host and Shared Management customers, and liaise with external Plan Managers around funding for Interchange customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan Management
Process and manage Plan Managed invoices in line with NDIA rules.
Advise customers on NDIA-eligible funding.
Monitor participant budgets and issue compliant statements.
Build and maintain positive relationships with participants and stakeholders.
Ensure monthly payments are received for PM services.
Collaborate with team members to deliver consistent customer service.
Shared Management
Enter and manage timesheets for Shared Management participants.
Monitor funding and ensure fortnightly payments aligned with payroll cycles.
Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
Host Arrangements
Process reimbursements and track funding for Host Arrangement customers.
Update Lumary monthly to ensure accurate monitoring and funding receipts.
Foster effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
Service Delivery
Demonstrate a strong customer focus and commitment to high-quality service.
Respond promptly and respectfully to customer and stakeholder enquiries.
Key Requirements:
Cert IV in Accounting and Bookeeping and/or membership to Bookkeeping Association
Previous Plan Management experience
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Ability to work with individuals from a range of social, financial, and cultural backgrounds.
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with people with disability, colleagues and members of the community.
Ability to work unsupervised within a team and/or autonomous environment and follow the duties and tasks of a designated support plan.
Excellent knowledge of NDIA supports and NDIA price guidelines.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with an ability to actively seek creative solutions to overcome problems.
Ability to cope with changes in work demands.

Location: Interchange Head Office, Belmont
Hours: 1.0 FTE, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (TBC)
