Enfield Aquatic Centre, a cherished part of the Burwood community since 1933 with a vibrant and active local community, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to be part of our Customer Service team.
This role allows for 18 hours per week on a rotating seven-day roster, including early morning (5:30am–12:30pm) and afternoon (12:00pm–8:00pm) shifts, with weekend penalty rates applicable.
This varied role involves balancing front-line customer service with essential administrative tasks that keep the Centre running smoothly.
Responsibilities of this varied role include:-
- Providing high-quality customer service to all customers and visitors to the Enfield Aquatic Centre
- Responding to enquiries, resolving issues, and escalating more complex matters where appropriate
- Assisting customers with program enrolments, bookings, and facility information
- Accurately receipting and reconciling payments, maintaining Point of Sale (POS) systems, and balancing transactions
- Carrying out daily opening and closing procedures and conducting equipment checks
- Supporting the Centre Manager and Team Leaders across all areas of the Centre
- Completing administration tasks, including bookings, invoicing, account reconciliations, and purchase orders
Key Essential Requirements:-
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current & valid Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated experience delivering quality customer service in a busy environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills to meet competing priorities
- Ability to resolve issues and handle customer complaints effectively
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use databases and POS systems
- Proven accuracy in cash handling and financial transactions
Key Requirements:-
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment health assessment
