Assistant Food Service Account Manager (Sydney + Canberra)

Land of Plenty Food Co is an award-winning food company, manufacturing & distributing premium food products for both the National Food Service & Retail sectors.

A new opportunity has become available for a Food Enthusiast to join our fast-growing business as Assistant Food Service Account Manager (SYD + CBR). Reporting to the Group Sales & Development Manager (FS) and based from our Matraville HQ, this is a combined office and in-field role. You must be passionate about food, eager to learn and motivated with a background in Food Service or Hospitality.

A self-motivated, enterprising, passionate individual with a ‘” can do”’ attitude, you will be further trained and up-skilled so you have the tools and ability to service and extend the customer base of Land of Plenty Food Co in greater Sydney & Canberra.

Duties include but not limited to:

Develop new accounts for the NSW business

Servicing an existing portfolio of NSW clients

Expand the product range sold within our existing portfolio

Build strong new and maintain customer relationships.

Be part of the NPD team developing new products

Manage the CRM for your accounts to ensure ongoing customer service excellence

What we are looking for:

A proven Hospitality Professional, emerging Food Sales or FMCG team member . Experience within the B2B sales space will be highly regarded.

You will have the self-confidence and self-motivation to help us reach our ambitious goals.

You must:

Be a self-starter who is able to work well under pressure

Work autonomously as well as part of a team

Have experience with CRM programs

Multi-task effectively in fast paced environment

Possess excellent communication, both written and verbal

Be dynamic with excellent organizational and time management skills.

This is primarily an In-Field Sales Role and you must possess a registered vehicle and have a current NSW Drivers License.

We are a small committed team so speed, accuracy, reliability and punctuality are a must. We rely on each other and work closely together to achieve our goals.

This is a full-time role, 38 hours/week, Mon to Fri, offering above award wages, tools of trade, employee discounts and more.
