Edward Street Psychology is seeking a permanent part time (minimum .4) administration assistant to join our well established team working in both Clinical and Organisational Psychology.
Essential Skills
- Well developed skills and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Audio typing experience.
- Knowledge and experience working with MYOB/ Xero / Invoicing/ Eftpos and Medicare Mental Health Care Plan transactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to empathise working both face to face and via telephone with individual clients, organisations and key stakeholders.
- Ability to engage with clients across a broad spectrum of diversity including cultural and social backgrounds.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Organised and flexible whilst working to achieve practice outcomes within a client centred practice.
- Ability to work unsupervised to ensure key performance indicators of a client centred practice are achieved.
We require a motivated individual seeking to join our well established team to provide excellent office and client service management including client coordination, scheduling appointments, managing client enquiries, filing, faxing, audio typing including medico legal reports, power point presentations, invoicing and receipting, maintaining confidential files, liaising with healthcare professionals, processing Eftpos and Medicare transactions. The successful applicant will be required to abide by work health safety policies and procedures.
Diploma or Certificate III/IV in Business Administration desired but not essential.
Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
The successful applicant will receive additional training and onboarding in a supportive work environment to consolidate skills and confidence within the role.
