Office Assistant – Join a Purpose-Driven Forestry Leader
Location: Hobart & New Norfolk, Tasmania
Full-time | $65,000

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, varied role that keeps our Hobart and New Norfolk offices running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for all things administration – from welcoming visitors and managing correspondence, to coordinating travel, supporting procurement, and assisting with confidential landholder and environmental data.

What You’ll Do
Be the friendly first point of contact for calls, visitors, and enquiries
Manage mail, packages, filing systems, and office supplies
Support accounts payable/receivable processes and procurement
Coordinate travel bookings, itineraries, and logistics
Assist with meetings, events, and promotional activities
Maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming office space
Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
What You’ll Bring
At least 2 years’ experience in administration or office support
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
A proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to help where needed
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Trustworthiness and discretion when dealing with confidential matters
Certificate III/IV in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
