About the role
This is a full-time Operations Assistant position based in our Hobart office. You will provide support to the General Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and enabling our the wider team to focus on their key priorities. The roles involves managing the day to day operations of the business under the direction of the General Manager including overseeing and processing the daily job workflows and scheduling and assisting in the tracking and maintenance of a range of financial and non-financial performance models through the Reporting cycle.
What you'll be doing
Manage the day-to-day schedule and calendar for our full time nation wide Consultants, coordinating appointments / site inspections, travel arrangements and other commitments.
Manage the various tracking schedules related to internal KPI's and financial and non-financial performance tools.
Act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries, handling them efficiently and professionally.
Provide administrative support including, managing files and records, and processing supplier invoices and expense claims.
Contribute to the overall smooth running of the office and team.
What we're looking for
Substantial experience in Administration, ideally in a professional services or building consultant / engineering environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other office administration software.
Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
