About the Opportunity
The School of Engineering is seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior School Officer to join our administration team. This position plays a key role in supporting the School’s operations, staff, and students. As the Senior School Officer, you will support a team of administrative staff, ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective services across the School. You will provide high-level administrative support, coordinate tasks and projects, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering excellent service to both staff and students.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated high level of administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to accurately maintain administrative systems and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and deliver a broad range of administrative services and functions.
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Possess strong computer literacy skills demonstrated through ability to efficiently use a wide range of software and digital tools to support workplace productivity and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualification and work experience in a tertiary institution or similar environment.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $84,470 to $93,865 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
