About the Company
This well-established Australian business has been a trusted partner to government agencies, local councils, and tier one organisations across New South Wales for over two decades. Due to maternity leave, they have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Advisor to join their team on 12 month fixed term contract basis, with a view for permanency after the fixed term period.
About the Position
Based in Southwest Sydney, this full-time HR Advisor role offers the opportunity to work closely with the operational leaders to deliver proactive and practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide end-to-end HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle;
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and compliance-related documentation;
- Assist with employee relations and performance management matters;
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems; and
- Manage HR reporting, data accuracy, and workforce analytics.
About the Candidate
You’re an experienced and proactive HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. You bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources;
- Previous HR experience, ideally in mixed-work force environment;
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and award interpretation;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first approach;
- A high level of organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities; and
- Tech-savviness with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with HR systems.
The Benefits
- 12 month contract role, with a view for permanency;
- Salary circa $80,000 - $90,000 + Super;
