About the role:

Catholic Homes is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Officer to join our team at our Head Office on a full-time basis located in Burswood.

Catholic Homes’ Head Office has modern staff amenities with culturally diverse teams. It is located close to Burswood train station and Victoria Park bus station with easy access from Albany and Great Eastern Highway.

Reporting to the Head of IT & Business, this role supports operational teams by assisting in diagnosing problems, deploying desktop equipment, managing user requests, and escalating issues when required.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

Provide first-level support for desktop and laptop computers, printers, phones, and peripheral devices.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues reported by users.

Assist with user account administration, password resets, and access control.

Install and configure software applications according to standards.

Provide onsite and remote support across all Catholic Homes sites.

Hardware and Inventory management

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

Certificate or diploma in Information Technology (or working towards).

Previous experience in a desktop support or customer service role (desirable).

Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking.

Familiarity with remote desktop tools and IT ticketing systems.

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and autonomously.
