We are seeking a full time Administration & Accounts Support Officer at Lakelands Country Club to support our Membership and Finance teams, handle front office duties, and ensure smooth day-to-day administration for both members and visitors.
Core Responsibilities
Office Reception & General Admin
· Undertake regular reception/front desk duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, accepting deliveries, and managing general enquiries.
· Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including correspondence, document management, data entry and record keeping.
· Support general office administration including filing, ordering supplies, photocopying, supply management, and maintaining tidy workspaces.
· Assist with meeting scheduling, minute taking, and preparation/distribution of board and committee packs.
Finance Support
· Support the Finance Manager with entry of supplier invoices, including Creditors statements and basic bookkeeping duties
· Collect, collate, and file payment and expense documentation.
· Manage cash handling procedures including weekly bank deposits, petty cash oversight, and reconciliation.
· Support migration and upkeep of finance and membership data in relevant systems (e.g., Myob MiClub)
· Assist monthly and quarterly finance reports required for management and board meetings.
Membership Support
· Provide excellent customer service to members, guests and visitors with a friendly and professional manner.
· Assist the Membership & Communications Officer in maintaining accurate member records, managing renewal processes, and generating reports.
· Respond to member enquiries related to payments, accounts, and membership status.
· Provide administrative assistance for membership drives, events, and member engagement activities as required.
· Support upkeep of club documentation and routine correspondence.
What We’re Looking For:
· Proven experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· High attention to detail and organisational skills
· Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Familiarity with basic accounting or bookkeeping functions (experience with MYOB or similar systems highly regarded)
· Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently within a small team
· Professional presentation and a proactive, positive attitude
· Experience in a membership-based or hospitality environment is a bonus
