We are currently seeking a Virtual Desktop Officer to provide key customer contact and communication functions enabling the team to achieve agreed service levels.
What will I be doing?
Provide remote and face to face technical support for Windows OS and mainstream enterprise applications
Work collaboratively with Level 3 engineering teams to resolve complex issues
Act as a technical SME for any Service Desk escalation
Ownership of Shift-Left process and provide technical support to junior analysts
Write knowledge and provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members
Proactively manage the Desktop support queue to ensure SLA compliance
Ensure that customer service levels are achieved or exceeded
Actively pursue Continuous Service Improvement
What skills will I need?
High level of expertise supporting Windows OS
Experience managing MS Azure and M365 environments
Proficient in managing MCM, including packaging
Good working knowledge of ITIL Change Management
Familiar with security best practise
Strong background in scripting and automation
What experience will I need?
Relevant Tertiary or Diploma qualifications and industry certifications are desirable
ITIL v4 certification highly desirable
Minimum of 1 years of experience working in a desktop support role or junior systems administrator
Experience with Audio Visual solutions
A high level of understanding of Active Directory, Exchange and group policy, both on prem and cloud based
Manage customer expectations and drive incident and requests to resolution
Ability to deal with busy, high-pressured situations
