We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer with strong 12D skills to support a growing pipeline of Transport for NSW (TfNSW) infrastructure and land development projects.
This is a remote contract opportunity, offering flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to work from anywhere in Australia. You’ll be joining a reputable consultancy that values quality design and efficient project delivery.

About the Role: This short-term contract role will see you contributing to key deliverables across a variety of civil infrastructure and land development projects.
Your focus will include:

• Detailed design using 12D for TfNSW road projects, subdivisions, and site earthworks for buildings
• Producing design documentation and construction-ready plans
• Working independently with minimal supervision
• Communicating effectively with the team and client representatives

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Civil Design Engineer
• Proven ability delivering TfNSW projects using 12D
• Solid background in road design, subdivisions, and site-based earthworks
• Prior contracting experience – comfortable working remotely with clear deliverables
• Strong communication and time management skills

Contract Details:

• Hourly rate contract
• Fully remote – work from anywhere in Australia
• Immediate start preferred
• ABN holders welcome. Not essential.
• Short-term contract (with potential for extension)

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
