We are looking for skilled Structural Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality building projects. Our client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, known for its strong national presence and high-calibre client base, is seeking an experienced engineer to join their Newcastle office.

The Role:

As a key member of the Structural team, you will work across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, health, education, and government projects. You’ll collaborate with a team of industry leaders and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative and complex building structures.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and deliver structural solutions for a range of building projects
• Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure effective project outcomes
• Manage project documentation and contribute to design reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence
• Support business development through strong client engagement

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Ideally 4+ years’ experience in structural design of buildings
• Can be a Senior level person
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. ETABS, RAM, RAPT, SpaceGASS, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with clients
• CPEng (or working towards) highly regarded not essential
