The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your engineering career with exposure to a wide variety of projects – from structural design and manufacturing to technology integration and on-site installations.
You wil get to work with the latest and greatest equipment inducing CNC routers, Laser Cutting, CNC Channel Letter Benders, Laser Welders. 3D printing is set to revolutionise the signage market.
You will work closely with experienced engineers, fabricators, and project managers to develop your technical skills, while contributing to real-world projects in signage, lighting, and structural steel fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, drafting, and development of signage structures, mechanical components, and lighting systems.
Support the preparation of manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, and bill of materials.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical, safe, and cost-effective.
Contribute to R&D projects for new products and structural solutions.
Quoting of manufacturing and installation jobs.
Assist with site inspections, measurements, and engineering assessments.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding specifications, materials, and fabrication requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and OH&S requirements.
Assist in learning to use the new equipment that we currently have and others (3D printing) that we will add soon.
About You
Recently completed (or about to complete) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong interest in structural/mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in CAD software (Inventor preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to a fast-paced environment.
Current driver’s license.
